"Lease Purchase, Swift Service Handyman and Drywall / Texturi"

Someone spammed the East Mesa area again with large red, white, and neon yellow coroplast signs for a lease purchase scam. They said "any credit OK". This guy has been a bit lower profile since a bunch of his expensive signs were sharked before. He must be testing the waters again. Too bad the last four digits of his phone numbers were cut away and removed! The extra step of placing CAUSS.org stickers on some signs was taken to help him get the message!

Swift Service Handyman signs were on telephone poles and sticks all over East Mesa. I called the guy and he told me to do things that I won't repeat. Because he is such a reprehensible scum and he sounds just like an ex-con, I left a nice message with the director of Code Enforcement with this jerk's information. I then called him back and informed his voicemail that because he had been such a jerk, he had been turned in to Code Enforcement and, "Have fun with that". God help anyone dumb enough to hire this guy!!!

Drywall / Texturing signs keep on reappearing near the Home Depot. Because these signs keep on being removed, we have caused a change in tactics by this guy. He now uses mass amounts of packing tape to place paper signs on telephone poles. I guess he thinks that that makes it harder to take down his signs. WRONG! A box knife makes short work of these!

Best regards,
NoSpam

Dear NoSpam,

Really enjoyed this paragraph in your post: "Drywall / Texturing signs keep on reappearing near the Home Depot. Because these signs keep on being removed, we have caused a change in tactics by this guy. He now uses mass amounts of packing tape to place paper signs on telephone poles. I guess he thinks that that makes it harder to take down his signs. WRONG! A box knife makes short work of these!"

The same situation exists with the bride/wedding/gun/tatto/computer show spammers in Southern California. The wrap several layers of acetate tape on the sign stakes affixed to telephone poles, light standards, etc.

They think that will make the signs impossible to yank from their locations.

As you say, all it takes is a box knife to slice vertically through the tape--no unwrapping necessary.

The dumbness of street spammers is limitless.

"It's 10 p.m. Do you know what Dumpster your street spam is sleeping in?"

You are right! How hard is it to advertise in the free papers, bulletin boards, internet and by the best of all, word of mouth?

You have to be a dumb looser to use illegal advertising to promote your business! If you are any good, word of mouth from satisfied customers would keep you busier than you could handle.

People who use illegal street spam advertising are unlikely to do good work nor will they care about honesty and integrity. If you hire a handyman or contractor from an illegal sign you are asking to be ripped off!

Best regards,
NoSpam
