Today I called a sign spammer and informed him that his signs were illegal. He asked me who I was with and I said CAUSS.org. He said, "What?" So I spelled out the full name, "Citizens Against Ugly Street Spam."
He stated that he only will listen to city and state officials.
I told him that if he keeps putting these illegal signs up, his signs would continue to vanish or be defaced. He said, "Oh you are the mean guy who kicks down my signs. Thanks for calling. Good bye."
The funny thing is, this was the first time that I had seen this particular sign. I think that someone else has been working over his signs! LOL!!! That's great!!
If he had stayed on the line just a little longer I would have told him that I am not alone!

It is very nice to see the results of others with the same concern for the area!
I have never seen them at work, only the results of their actions. And, of course, the guy who thought that I had been kicking down his signs is another confirmation that we are having an effect on illegal sign spammers!
