Yeah, that sure sounds like the life I deserve: sneaking around to pay phones in the middle of the night to put up desperate solicitations for pyramid schemes. Where do I sign up?

I ran across an Army recruiter who was simply putting his business cards on top of pay phones, where they would blow away as soon as he left. I reported him to his Commanding Officer, indicating I did not think this was an appropriate way to recruit. He agreed and said he would talk to this person and make certain it stops.

Way to GO!! One fight the military will walk away from in a heart beat, is politics. If you don't believe it, read McArthur or Patton.
Would almost be willing to bet this poor guy was threatened with an Article 15 from his C/O. One thing that will kill an NCO's career quicker than anything is a "uses bad judgement" remark in his personnel files.
