I cannot believe how many people there are with so much time on their hands! I am a part time real estate investor and have happily just purchased my first 200 "we buy houses" signs. A few fellow investors I know say they work fantastic and I am anxiously awaiting their delivery. I can understand a couple of your points concerning the legality of some postings and the cluttering of excess signs, but isn't that what city/county code enforcement is for? Seems to me if sign removal was such a top priority with cities and counties they would have hired you all on the payroll. When you guys see someone exceeding the speed limit, do you activate bootleg sirens and lights and take the law into your own hands as well? I have hired someone to put up the signs on friday and remove them by sunday night. These signs will have tons of exposure before your type will even come close to defacing them. All I need is one closing to finance my whole year of marketing (yes, more signs!) These signs work. Plain and simple. If they didn't, your valant efforts would prove to be effective. But I still see signs everywhere. Think about this the next time you take one down. My coroplast signs cost me a buck a piece from a local printshop. By the time your type eventually take one down, it will have done it's job 100 fold over what it cost to put up. Keep plugging guys. The world needs more do- gooders like yourself

Thank you for contributing your signs to our landfill. If you have someone put out your signs on Friday night in my City, I am the person that you have hired to remove them because they are gone on Saturday morning before the glare of the sun hits them. Our City has a zero tolerance for your signs. Thank you.

This guy and his kind are why I use humiliating stickers. Simple removal just makes these guys ramp up their efforts. Instead, for the worst cases, I make their cheap signs into an advertisement against themselves.
If you put up your signs in my city, you'll find you get more phone calls laughing at you than anything else.

I have been reading your posts and seriously doubt any of you are anywhere near my mid- sized city. So I guess I can sleep well at night knowing my weekend signs will be working overtime every weekend I have them put up. In fact, I will probably put out permanent signs myself in more rural areas. I see other signs in my area that have excellent longevity. In conclusion, your short-arm -of -the -law vigilantism havn't met up with this midwestern town. Love, Dave P.S. do any of you have jobs? at parties, when people ask "what do you do?" or "what are your hobbies" do you all reply, "I take down signs for free" .... now THAT'S something to laugh about uglylitter

One reply per troll, as promised...

Actually, I tell them that I donate time to keeping my town clean and attractive by ripping down illegal signs. Most don't laugh; most people thank me, and promise to whack a few themselves next time they see them.

The world's getting more do-gooders like ourselves. Your signs won't be safe for long.

I cannot believe how many people there are with so much time on their hands to pick up litter. I'm a lazy slob and I just dump my litter on the right-of-way. I can understand a couple of your points concerning litter, but isn't that what city/county road crews are for? If litter was a priority with the city/county, they'd hire you all. Dumping my trash on the shoulder saves me $30 a month! All I need is one month's savings on trash pickup and I can buy 3 whole cases of Milwalkee's Best!

your analogy is poor and the humor/sarcasm is rather weak my friend......but if that's what you're into, maybe someone in your group can pick up the dog droppings in the park I walk in- almost stepped in a pile today! (I do believe leaving dog feces in most metroparks is illegal too.....do you guys chase after fugitive dog owners as well?) you could call that wing of your group C.R.A.P. --- citizens raving against poop

Har! Great idea....
I'm gonna stop spending money to get my lawn mowed. Why should I, after all? When enough of the neighbors complain that it's a nuisance, the town crew will come and whack the weeds for me! They'll prolly even tow the ol' junk cars I got parked along the curb, too!

The momentum is on the side of citizens who want to rid their cities of ugly and illegal street spam. We will use every legal and ethical means to overcome the problem of illegal and ugly signs. As the HerbaLife problem abates (hopefully) we will have more time to focus on other spammers such as "health insurance" and "I Buy Houses." Oh, illegal political signs too!
If you tell me what city you post your signs in, I'll see if I can find some local citizens who share my concern and who are willing to take some local action.

nah, I'll just keep you guessing on what town I'll soon be spamming, my little do-gooder buddy--keeps things interesting eh? .....but I'll be sure to keep you all posted on how my marketing efforts are going...by the way, there are thousands of independent "we buy houses" corporations, LLC's and other entities instead of one Herbalife to go after.....best of luck!
