Recently there have been some concerns voiced regarding the availability of personal information in one's personal profile page.

The security of our latest version of DC Scripts 6.24 doesn't allow for the harvesting of email addresses. Nor does it allow for your email address to be visiable when receiving email from our web site.

Please note: If you are receiving unsolicited email requesting you join a specific usenet group, rest assured your email address did not come from CAUSS.

Anyone desiring to change or edit their personal profile, go to the following page:
http://www.causs.org/cgi-bin/dcforum/dcboard.cgi?az=user&command=change_preference

Next, Select "NO" from the first line of "Hide Your Profile"

Last, scroll down to the bottom of the page and select "Update".

Review the page for current settings, if added changes are desired, hit the "back" button, otherwise close out the page.

Log off and log back on.

The administrators are making daily "session cleanup files" so that no information is stored in some unknown source.
