Starting Monday AM., the telephone calls and emails start to the political wannabes that have political signs in the ROW's and setbacks.
They always counter with, "we're allowed xx days to remove the signs", in which we rebound with "not the signs in the public ROW's, those are still against city ordinace or state law".
We follow up with "we're doing a press photo shoot, day after tomorrow and if you want to be targeted by the press as a violator, then leave the signs, otherwise, we suggest you get them before the photo shoot".
We sent the follwing emails to the newly elected US Representative after last falls election.
"Greetings Representative ------------: Congratulations, WE won. Please have all those overly ambitious sign posters, remove all the signs that were illegally placed in our ROW's before they wind up as litter scattered everywhere."
It worked, the signs disappeared in the next two days.
