Went to the grocery store this morning to find the town carpeted with "furniture store going out of business" signs like the sharks in other parts of the country have reported.
It was a real satisfying trip... these signs has elaborately-welded "step-stake" supports that indicated the bozos intended them for re-use...I bet I cost them about 400 bucks in just a half-hour expedition.
And, for the first time, I saw the printing at the bottom of the signs that's been reported from other places:
"Support Local Law Enforcement."
Well, as they say in New York City, Hey, I got your support right here, buddy.'
And also: "All signs removed Sunday evening."
Guess what, snotface: All signs in this town are removed by Saturday morning.
I'm not going to call them. I want them to send their low-rent losers out to put up more signs next weekend. I'll get a lot of satisfaction when I think about the ten bucks they spent on each sign as I bring them to the town dump.
This week's recommendation for a sign-rip-trip soundtrack: Social Distortion's "The Story of my Life." Played loud.

Good work!
I recommend you see the general thread "D&D Promotions - The Sign Sale - liquidators"
We've been plagued by these signs over the years. The liquidator has it down to a science - they put up signs on the weekend when CE is off duty. They do this for weeks - sometimes months - on end.
The only way I have found to be truly effective with these clowns is to get CE involved and have them discuss the law with the store owner, up close and personal.
